The Aviolab AirShow was organized by DAC jointly with CIRA to valorise the Campania General Aviation Sector. The event was held on CIRA premises in Capua on October 29-30th, 2015, and is first of a series of events aiming at offering new opportunities of business to the High Tech Campania excellence. The meeting gave the chance to meet and interact with international delegation composed by potential buyers, contractors, partners from 5 foreign countries: Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Israel, UK. •The programme included an exhibition area inside the CIRA hangar where vehicles produced by Campania General Aviation Companies (i.e. Caltec Consortium, OMA Sud, Tecnam, …) were put on display. In particular, TECNAM put on static display its last product, the P2012 Traveller, an 11-seat piston twin A/C conceived for the US market, whose maiden flight was later on done on June 2016. The company – the largest producer of light sport aircraft globally – has partnered with the US regional carrier Cape Air to help it create the ideal platform for the commercial GA sector: first 100 production vehicles were already allocated to Cape Air.

Training & Education Post-graduated Courses. Open calls were issued for 78 high level training fellowships, strictly linked with content and objectives of strategic R&D projects, and with strong synergy and cooperation with academic world, professional and industrial education entities. Nine high level skills were developed, with 67 young engineers reaching the qualification.
3) Six strategic projects were completed after some 3-year activities for a total of about 50 M€. Each one of them was led by a primary industrial entity, anche involved the entire supply chain, from SME's to academia and research centers.
