Success Story / Achievements:

The Galician Audiovisual Cluster (Cluster Audiovisual Galego – CLAG) has more than 12 of experience carrying out highly successful projects, creating synergies in the development of business projects which have helped to turn Galicia into a leading force in the audio visual industry. A brief summary of three of our main projects are presented below:

1. Participation and attendance to international markets:

Our organization provides support to our members when participating in very prestigious international markets within the audiovisual sector, such as MIPTV, MIPCOM, Marché du Film, European Film Market, IBC Amsterdam, Ventana Sur or Rio Content Market. Participation in international markets is rather important to any business, especially for SMEs in order to access foreign markets. In this sense, our companies have reached important agreements and have been released abroad in these markets. The CLAG has provided assistance and information, facilitating their work.

2. Pithcing: “I+P, Ideas para Producir”:

Our organization has been organizing for 9 years this event in order to promote contact between responsible for content acquisition and producers seeking funding, marketing or distribution for their works.

Every year this event is organized, between 15 and 20 media porjects for film and television in Spain are presented in front of a wide range of buyers from the main prestigious Spanish companies. Once the projects have been presented, the journey continues with one to one meetings between the buyers and the creators.

This event gives the opportunity to a wide range of creators to present their projects and ideas to the main companies. In addition, many of the creators reach agreements which help them to grow and sell their audiovisual works.

3. I+dea, the Galician Audiovisual Technological Platform:

I+dea, the Galician Audiovisual Technological Platform, aims to be an organization where all relevant agents in the technological side of the audiovisual sector in Galicia come together to work and cooperate, creating groups of excellence and scientific-technological coordination in key R&D&I areas for the future of the industry.

I+dea, the Galician Audiovisual Technological Platform, was created in 2008 and it is formed by audiovisual companies, technology providers, universities and local institutions. It aims to promote synergies and the integration of R&D&I projects. One of its principal objectives is to promote a culture of cooperation as a means of sector development, in harmony with European-wide policies aimed at promoting cooperation strategies. Through the i+dea platform, the Galician audiovisual sector has created ties with other similar bodies in the rest of Spain and in other European countries, so that it can benefit from taking part in large-scale projects.

I+dea, the Galician Audiovisual Technological Platform, is open to all companies and institutions that are interested in contributing in a positive manner to the projects it promotes.

Why should partners choose you for cooperation?:

Our organization has more than 12 years of experience in promoting collaborative projects in innovation and internationalization.

Throughout our history within the audiovisual sector we have developed a comprehensive contact network with EU and third countries, which allow us to strengthen our links with internationalization and makes us very reliable and solvent when carrying out different projects.

We are eager to make new contacts and start new projects.
