Project NameName & Description (Regional/National)

    Currently implemented projects:

    • InterBKP 2.0 – Expansion of Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster to International Markets (National)

The aim of the Project is to increase the internationalization of the companies belonging to Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster, as a result of realization of services supporting introduction and the highlight of Cluster’s and its members offer on international markets, as well as undertaking the activities to activate companies in the area of R&D&I and the development of international cooperation (including exchange of knowledge and establishing the international network of contacts). The services of internationalization in the Project are addressed to 17 Cluster’s members, including 14 SMEs. The predicted effects of the Project will be, i.a. increasing sales revenue from export, increase of employment, concluding international business contracts, establishing cooperation with new business partners and R&D units, increasing of integration and tightening the cooperation between the Cluster members. Duration of the Project: 1.12.2018 – 30.11.2021.

    • EXPORT LEADERS - Expansion of Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster Members to International Markets (Regional)

As a part of the Project actions will be undertaken to internationalize the members of Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster. Internationalization will be realized through the participation in trade fairs worldwide, both as exhibitors and visitors. The events connected with trade fairs planned in the Project will be realized in groups and individually as well. The international trade shows under consideration are the most important branch events in Poland and throughout Europe. There will also be promotional materials prepared and printed out in several language versions, as they are vital to internationalization activities and expanding to international markets. 13 SMEs will participate in the Project. Project duration: 1.01.2016 – 31.12.2019.

    • TIREC – development of a technology for the manufacture of polymer compound with tyre rubber recyclate in search for new products (Transnational)

Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster has become a partner of an international project, whose members are UTP University of Science and Technology in Bydgoszcz, ML sp. z o.o. and Technische Universität Chemnitz. The Project entitled is implemented within the EUREKA Initiative. The aim of the Project is the management of rubber waste from used car tyres in the form of a filler in polymer compositions. The waste which has been ground into a rubber powder of an average grain size less than 0,5 mm is combined with thermoplastic by injection moulding and with the porous polyurethane by vacuum casting. The composition of a newly created material will undertake optimization from the point of view of its share in the composition, mechanical properties, contents and the migration of the polycyclic aromatic compounds ( i.e. PAH – polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons). The Project will effect in the prototype of a product of mass application designed to strengthen loose soils and to limit the areas of self-sowing plants. The product will be manufactured from the material that contains a large quantity of tyre rubber powder (assumed min. 50 per cent of the composition mass) with maintaining the acceptable PAH content. Duration of the Project: 1.05.2019 – 30.04.2021.

      Promotion
Why should partners choose you for cooperation?:

Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster incorporates companies of the tool and plastics processing industry and a range of business environment institutions, including universities, research and development units, offices, entrepreneurs’ associations and financial institutions. The majority of companies in the processing and tool industry are small- and medium-sized enterprises. Their activities are highly flexible. The cluster’s aim is the integration of processing and tool experts, representing their interests outside the industry and also establishing a network of business connections facilitating the operations of companies, access to human resources, technological development and an increase of production innovation. The enterprises of the Cluster offer high-quality moulds and other processing tools and also deal with the manufacturing of plastic products for various industries, among others: household appliances, food, medical, pharmaceutical, automotive, cosmetic and packaging industries. The members of the Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster constitute a chain of suppliers – they offer both polymers and additives: masterbatches, fillers, modifying agents. They manufacture a complete range of tools for plastics processing: moulds, blow moulds, extrusion heads, rubber injection moulds, along with machining tools: blanking dies, stamping dies and forging dies. The tools are made of steel and often based on standard parts provided by local suppliers. The processors manufacture a variety of products by means of injection moulding, extrusion and blow moulding.

We are open to international cooperation and common projects in the fields of, inter alia, R&D, innovation, knowledge transfer to business sector and vocational education.
