BITERAP (BITERAP)
Overview
About us
The vision of the Biterap cluster is to achieve an exemplary implementation of the bioeconomy within the scope of the region.
The starting point in developing the BITERAP vision into individual goals and priorities is the added value of individual components of the production value chain. Due to their size, SMEs do not carry out their activities in all components of the value chain, but concentrates their activities on individual components. The intention of BITERAP is to provide SMEs with support and advice in selected components that carry higher added value.

Facilitation of collaboration between members
To ensure maximum use of natural resources and minimize emissions, it is necessary to create new value chains and new business areas based on the use of all resources. This requires the development of new data analysis processes to maximize resource utilization and support new value chains with established and new partners. The Biterap cluster will support capacity building in digitization and sustainability to build the resilience of companies.
Direct advisory services
Of the many problems faced by SMEs in the region, the availability of finance is one of the less serious. According to the Report on the State of SMEs in Slovakia in 2019, the most significant problem for most SMEs is the availability of a qualified workforce and experienced managers. The Biterap cluster seeks to stimulate discussion on the challenges and needs of SMEs.
