The purpose of this Association is to facilitate innovative practices to improve the competitiveness of their members in order to defend its general business interests and promote its projection and international visibility:


  1. Supporting strategies for innovation and business competitiveness of their members.
  2. Promoting and spreading innovation practices to groups of companies by undertaking collaboratie advanced projects.
  3. Favouring the interaction and cooperation between the agents constituting this association to generate economic advantages and competitiveness.
  4. Implanting collective solutions that allow identifying challenges and achieve high productivity and added value.

1.    Involvement in European projects, addressing our members needs, in order to finance the development of any research and innovation initiative.

2.    Services to SMEs and other entities: Technical and consultancy services.

3.    Alliances with other strategic partners, with the aim to create a wide and collaborators network for strengthen knowledge and experiences and create synergies with other clusters and/or innovation entities, create competitive projects, etc.

4.   Development of specific training plans. Generic training for all is not useful anymore. Each person in each organization must develop some specific competences. Because of this, Amuebla develops  training plans aligned with the industrial needs of the habitat sector.

BOSS4SME: Boosting online cross-border sales for furniture and household SMEs


GPP-FURNITURE: An innovative and open learning resource for professionals of the furniture industry to expand their knowledge and provide added value for the Green Public Procurement


ECO4VET: Improvement of Vocational Education and Training related to ecodesign and sustainable production in the furniture sector.


CLUSTER4SMART:: The Cluster4Smart project proposes the development of an online training course for Cluster Managers in order to increase their knowledge in Industry 4.0 and its associated technologies, and how to implement them in their companies.


WOMEN IN POWER: The projects main goal is to foster the leadership and empowerment of European women working in traditional sectors through education, giving them the tools and skills to achieve executive management positions within the industry.


DESIGN4CIRCLE : The projects main goal is to and foster Vocational Education and Training, updating skills and knowledge of textile and fashion designers.


FLAME: The principal aim of the project is it will develop a CLIL (the Content and the Language the Integrated Study) and a course that increases the attraction of the sector of the furniture for the workers with a special area in the young persons, increases the skills for the empleabilidad, extend the competition in languages and intensify the mobility of the workers about Europe.


EASIMS: The aim of the project is to provide an innovative methodological learning approach and solution to learn how to design, develop and implement an IMS in a SMEs and a software to put into practice the learnt lessons and design the specific IMS structure and content.


FURN360:  aim to develop a common curriculum and training content for implementing strategies able to ease the transition to a circular model within the habitat sector.

Success Story / Achievements: 

Different success stories can be identified in some of the initiatives in which Amuebla has been involved during the last years at national and international levels.

-FURN360: aim to develop a common curriculum and training content for implementing strategies able to ease the transition to a circular model within the habitat sector.

-Cluster4Smart:  the aim of the project is to develop an innovative training resource for cluster managers on cluster management adapted to the industry4.0

- BOSS4SME  project has for objective the competitiveness improvement of the European Furniture and household Sector through development of the Online Sales Manager profile, a professional capable of devising e-Commerce strategies for increasing revenues from cross-border sales through utilisation of the Internet as a sales channel.

- GPP-FURNITURE The aim of the project is the design and development of an e-learning training course for filling gaps in the manufacture and design furniture skills in relation with Green Public Procurement for current and future managers and workers in the furniture industry and habitat sectors.

-ECO4VET project is an initiative funded by the former Lifelong Learning programme, which aims at addressing the identified educational gap in the furniture sector developing tools and methods for training workers in “Ecodesign and Sustainable Production”. With this initiative a joint study programme was developed addressing the lack of knowledge and skills between professionals in the furniture industry related to ecodesign and sustainable production. It is addressed to professionals from the furniture sector, mainly SMEs.

-With “Custodia tu Mueble” initiative, 15 enterprises were able to speed up the implementation process of a “Chain of Custody” management system and its further certification.

-Amueblahome is a market place platform   for a wide variety of Habitat products, Amueblahome becomes micro retail online for direct sale of products Habitat, or in product showcases that redirect buyers to the respective websites of each participating

-Business in Cloud offers businesses advanced design tools combined with the new information technologies. By participating in the project, the companies have software that allows them to present their products virtually, with excellent qualities. All this, flexible shell companies provide much more VALUE, improve communication with customers, streamline sales, eliminating any possibility of error in the orders, provide an unlimited range of combinations and possibilities, and ultimately differentiate itself from competitors by offering many more advantages and facilities.

With the support of their research members, AMUEBLA is able in being involved in applied R&D activities under the field of three areas of expertise.

-Materials: Aiming to develop materials with new and improved functionalities for different applications: Coating and Varnishes, flexible polyurethane foams, wood based panels and wood plastic composites.

-Electronics and domotics: Development of new functionalisation with the integration of sensors and electronic and ICT devices in furniture and habitat elements.

-Robotics: Focused on the automation of industry processes from sectors as traditional as the furniture and woodworking sectors are.
